Meet Janice

Janice Q. Taylor, Founder and Principal Consultant of JQ Taylor & Associates is a dynamic, engaging, passionate, and powerful ally and resource for businesses, colleges and universities, non-profits and municipalities seeking to enhance leadership capabilities. She has held executive and senior level leadership roles in human resources and operations management in manufacturing, hospitality, senior care, and insurance sectors. Her extensive background, training and expertise make her uniquely qualified to equip her clients with tools, techniques and strategies needed to enhance performance and improve organizational effectiveness. 

JQ Taylor & Associates is a training, coaching and consulting organization dedicated to providing customized solutions to organizations and individuals seeking to elevate performance and lead with greater impact. 

Ms. Taylor is a graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a certified life and career coach, and is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator certified. Most recently, Janice earned the Certified Hospitality Trainer (CHT) designation from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. 

For nearly 20 years, she served as National Advisory Board Chair of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality and is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Retail, Tourism, and Hospitality Management Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Janice is active in her community and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, a national public service organization.
